Pupils in 5th & 6th class spent a very enjoyable morning at the Taste of the Lakelands Festival where they were given baking lessons by an Italian Chef. The children made some very tasty pizzas which they then ate fresh from the oven.

A big congratulations to Anthony who won a silver medal in the Solo Music Category of the County Roscommon Community Games in Elphin last weekend. Anthony performed a piece on the banjo and a piece on the piano. We are very lucky in Ballagh NS to have such an array of talent!!

It was great to see such a large gathering this morning for our Walk To School. What a wonderful way to start the school day – enjoying the beautiful weather, with some exercise and good company. We hope the parents enjoyed the walk as much as the children did.

Our senior room took part in the Bizworld Programme this week and it was a fantastic experience. We certainly have lots of budding entrepreneur amongst us.
